Notes from our reviewers

The CLEAN collection is hand-picked and rigorously reviewed for scientific accuracy and classroom effectiveness. Read what our review team had to say about this resource below or learn more about how CLEAN reviews teaching materials.

  • This video could be a starting point for deeper discussion about how satellites help us monitor precipitation globally. A classroom discussion of precipitation data gaps might be motivation for getting involved in a citizen science project such as CoCoRaHS (the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network). The acronym GPM is used throughout the video but never defined. Teachers should let their students know that it stands for Global Precipitation Measurement.
