Notes from our reviewers

The CLEAN collection is hand-picked and rigorously reviewed for scientific accuracy and classroom effectiveness. Read what our review team had to say about this resource below or learn more about how CLEAN reviews teaching materials.

  • Consider engaging students in a conversation about what specific demands they would like met should a climate emergency be declared since legislators are more apt to act quickly if they are given explicit instructions. This lesson could be taught at the end of a unit on climate change science, in tandem with a social studies curriculum, or as an extension to the science curriculum in a club or other context.
