The video discusses the future of global energy and stresses that more natural gas, more nuclear, and a lot more renewables need to be developed. This is not based on policy, but because these energies best meet the four criteria of energy choice: affordable, available, reliable and clean. It will be decades before these energies overtake oil and coal. In the meantime, we can make a difference today, through efficiency.

This website has great potential for research projects for students.
The video does not get into policy aspects regarding the allocation of energy resources to meet the countries' energy needs. Classes can discuss how do we waste and/or conserve energy and what are regional/national/global policies could drive to make energy more affordable, available, reliable, and clean. Students could be broken into groups representing different regional interests.
