Our nation's coastal states support 81% of the U.S. population, generate 83% of U.S. GDP, and will be acutely impacted by climate change. In the face of this challenge, coastal professionals will lead the effort to enhance resilience of coastal communities, economies, and ecosystems.

Changing climate poses challenges that cross many borders, and addressing these challenges requires a global perspective and capability. Solutions to climate issues are social as well as scientfic. A growing international community is working to help groups find answers to their questions.
